Thursday, June 30, 2011: Heather carved out time for coffee (note to self: always go for coffee with Heather, her website says she “will buy the coffee” and she is true to her word). I listened in awe, as she used her leadership skills to persuade a fellow Deltonian to run as a Councillor. “Delta needs you and what you have to offer!” She is clearly running as an independent, so she did not, could not, offer a spot on her “party” slate. Instead, she offered nothing except sound logic. She wants the best for Delta and she is soliciting the best!
Poetry in motion: a strategic thinker that sees the big picture, while envisioning all the details that need to be done to get there! Stay tuned, as this coffee conversation will come up again.
I am getting stoked, is it the caffeine or the civic election fever, that I tend to catch every third rainy November?
