Pop Quiz #1: Answer, rant, and winners!
What is wrong with this photo?
Photo taken Tuesday, September 27, 2011 |
Answer:
The Delta Courts were closed as of November 1, 2002
Irony/Rant:
- This sign is right in front of City Hall
- The obsolete Delta Courts sign gets to stay up almost NINE YEARS past it's due date and the Terry Fox signs were taken down within HOURS of being put up!
I am not making this up! Thankfully Heather King put on her:
- ROYAL PURPLE CAPE and
- a rare and wonderful ingredient that is so often missing when "status quo bureaucracy" mates with "butt-stupid red tape", common sense.
YUP, Heather KING used common sense and solved a glitch at Delta City Hall!
(Click to see how Heather King rescued the Terry Fox signs -- Shocking, but true. Really you won't believe how quickly things can be resolved at City Hall, if common sense is used!)
