**Delta is "hoping" that Metro Vancouver will contribute, but regardless the maximum is $30,000 -- wow! I don't know how to get a lucrative job like this, but I am interested!

	THAT a meeting facilitator be retained at a cost not to exceed $30,000 to schedule meetings with key federal government staff in Ottawa to discuss issues of local and regional concern, including:
	Funding for secondary channel dredging.
	Policing and organized crime.
	Roberts Bank port expansion environmental assessment review process.
	Cost-sharing for wastewater treatment facility upgrades.
	Port Metro Vancouver payment in lieu of taxes.
	THAT Metro Vancouver be requested to contribute towards the costs of the facilitator for issues that have a regional impact.
	THAT staff report back following the Ottawa delegation.
