Heather King for Mayor Newsletter - October 16th
|
Dear Barb,
Welcome
to the first newsletter of the "Heather King for Mayor" campaign! This
is a very exciting time for us and I am so pleased at the support shown
to us so far. We have 35 canvassers and over a dozen phoners - all who
are dynamic and energized with the task of winning this election.
There are 5 weeks to the election, and much work to do.
But
first, we celebrate! Ruth Katagi has won the first week of canvassing
with a record of 58 homes the first night! So far 1 person is confirmed
for a lawn sign and 5 others are strong supporters. Ruth wins a lovely
basket of goodies and the next newsletter will have her photo in it.
Congratulations Ruth!

Are
you having so much fun and excitement volunteering on this campaign
that you know of someone to share this with? We need more volunteers to
be scutineers on the days of the advance polls and election day - 19th
November. We would love to see if more people could phone just prior
to the advance poll dates and election day to get out and vote - for
"you know who!" We need to have drivers to assist people to get to the
polls on these election dates. Please contact us at
king4mayor@gmail.com if you know of someone else who can help. We are in this to win with your help!
Sincerely,
Heather King |
