Welcome to Heather King 4 Mayor Newsletter

It has been a very busy 10 days.
We have been canvassing, phoning, designing advertisements, preparing for the Mayors Debate and the Bill Good show, as well as staffing headquarters and putting up lawn signs.
Today I also taught seniors in the Augustine House, how to vote.
Thank you so much to our army of volunteers.  We could never thank you enough for how you have put this campaign together.
Giant hugs for all of you!

Canvassers of the week(s)louise
Louise receiving her prize for the most polls canvassed. She is about to complete her 5th poll in Ladner!!!!
Colleen Hardie, Barbara Moy, Lousie Long and Sarg and John Dhaliwal all join the hero ranks for canvassing!  Bravo!

Colleen did the most houses in one day! - 300

Barbara Moy and Mom completed one poll (Imperial Village) in 2.5 hours - speedy twins!

Sarg and John canvassed on their 26th anniversary!

I have little prizes for each but they are too busy to come and get photos taken.  Sunday is perhaps the best day for all that.

Phoners
We have amazing talent on the phones! professional! expedient and so gracious.  It is important to do this with one another for support.  As you get the cranky ones, the support of one another is very beneficial.  Bask in the glow of the great calls too!
Ruth and Margaret - thank you so much for the most time on the phones!  Laura  thank you for bringing the kids to experience this campaign first hand!

Youth Vote
youth vote
Sunday, Katy, Troy, Tyler, Jon, Sheldon, Cory and Wade all congregated to discuss how to get the youth out to vote on November 5th. Jon and Reese will continue the discussions.  In the meantime, why not join them this Saturday at the advance polls.
